Born 1992 in Bermuda, Zachary Stelios Marshall lives and works in New York City. He attended Rhode Island School of Design, graduating in 2014 with a BFA in painting. He works in multiple mediums including oil painting, drawing, and sculpture. Marshall draws inspiration from medieval and early renaissance art, as well as the surrealist and metaphysical painting movements of the early 20th century. These influences are mediated by employing his memories as the starting point for the production of his work. He has shown internationally in galleries in the U.S. (New York City and Los Angeles), Bermuda, and Spain.
